I personally do not photoshop my photos so my clients and students can see the skin straight after work. I believe that is how should be. Otherwise many of people can have different imaginations and expectations. Later on, also can cause problems and misunderstandings while clients expect super soft and permanent red lips and eventually lips are very puffy, a bit bruised and sensitive. Most of the well-photoshopped photos look like from magazines. I know that this is very good for social media although I believe that the most important is to rather show what people can expect after the procedure than make it just looking well.

Is also something else if we use apps to correct photos and make it more bright or cut in the way we wish to show. Those tools are very useful and help to provide the best before- after impression. But when we use them for our photos, we must be very careful because it can be a kind of cheating. We need to understand that we are not in the middle of movie production and no one will see our photos after making any changes. This is why I think that before-after photos should be as real as possible. I want to tell you that the best way to show your work is not photoshop. It’s real life images and videos. The most important thing is to make sure that client will be happy with the results after the procedure and this can be done only by showing what people can expect after it. I know that some people don’t like their before photos and they feel insecure about it but we should remember that in many cases those pictures are necessary for professionals to make the right decisions when planning procedures.

Why does social media make us to correct everything and apply filters? Because we all want to look just great even on the minute we wake up and we still lying in the bed. Is sad truth about this modern world but I still believe many of us still love the natural look and this is what I love and I provide for my clients. I want to underline natural beauty, not to make us look all the same as robots. We all have different beauty and our appearance is unique and special. We should be proud of that and we should not try to look like someone else. I want to show my clients how great they look and what their true beauty is. I love to capture raw emotions on the faces of my clients because it shows their true personalities and makes them feel comfortable around me.

From my experience, I can say that semi permanent makeup changes our skin look because is nothing else as over 1hr works with a needle on the skin in order to implement pigment. In that case, skin can be red, sensitive and puffy. Sometimes even can show bruises like in the case of spmu lips. During the past 5 years of work, it happened to me many times already that some of my clients’ skin are reacting so well to the procedure that they can actually go for a date ahaha. And I mean really they look great with lips and eyebrows and permanent makeup without any visible redness or puffiness. Their skin absorbs pigment and looks fantastic. Although is not everyone can be that lucky and even me I am totally the opposite. When I do semi permanent makeup for myself my skin reacts very fast and I just get used to. So nothing to be shame is just how our skin works and I believe I saw bad and good skin reactions to many different colors of the skin: staring from European to Latin American and African. We are all different but semi permanent makeup can be applied to all skin color which is wonderful!

I do not recommend watching too much social media before the first appointment of semi permanent makeup. You can find too much conflicting information that can confuse you a lot. All of my clients are pleasantly surprised to learn that permanent makeup is not nearly as painful as they anticipated when they first see us. This is because I utilize numbing product of the highest quality, so you won’t feel a thing.

Lidocaine, Benzocaine, and Tetracaine are the three magical components that make up our numbing cream. These three ingredients combined produce a potent numbing lotion that makes obtaining microblading, lip tinting, or any other one of semi permanent makeup treatments a comfortable experience.
If the proper numbing cream is applied, permanent cosmetics and microblading are often fairly painless procedures.
