SEMI PERMANENT MAKEUP
In general semi permanent makeup and microblading is a painless procedure and apart of that there is numb which works even for the most sensitive skin. There might be some uncomfortable sounds involved, but you will be nicely surprised about how little you feel, similar feeling to mosquito bites. Some clients of mine even fall asleep when getting semi permanent makeup done.
Does it hurt afterwards?
The area can be a little sore for the first few hours and then tender to the touch for a couple of days, but is far from pain. Semi permanent makeup should not be a painful procedure.
Once the skin has been broken the body automatically enters its wound healing process in response. This process is complex and for semi permanent makeup treatments it typically lasts between 4-8 weeks. Normally the skin healing process is up to 30 days, but from my experience I can say that the skin is still sensitive after those 30 days so i recommend to come back for a touch up after 5th week. Semi permanent makeup is strict procedure, if the skin is not healed yet and touch up will be done, the needle can make a scar. During healing time is very important to avoid sun and intense facial treatments with acids.
Gently wash the area each morning and night by slightly touch cotton pad with mineral water. With a very light touch, use your freshly washed hands to gently cleanse the area. Dry the area by tissue or another cotton pad and repeat this procedure as many times as you feel the skin become dry.
Yes, it will. With time, your permanent makeup will fade completely. Most of the eyebrows start fading in less than six months and take two to three years to disappear entirely from the skin. Lips and eyeliner will take a bit more time, around 5-6 years. Semi permanent makeup is not tattoo, so it will not stay forever nicely visible.
Permanent makeup removal is definitely possible, but it takes 2+ sessions spaced out at least 4-6 weeks apart. So it can drag out for months. The most efficient PMU removal methods are laser and organic removal, best when when both methods are combined.
Your freshly done semi permanent makeup looks very dark, puffy and strong and that can make you regret getting it. Don’t panic! The pigment will fade up to 50% until the permanent eyeliner healing process is through. The true color will only emerge after about 4 weeks. There is nothing to worry, so just keep the area clean and wait patiently for final result.
I recommend to do retouch (color touch up) every 1-2 years in order to see the best results of permanent makeup. At times you can start noticing the color fading in a year, typically between in 2-3 years, depend of your skin type and climate where you live. However, every person holds the pigment differently, so best to do check up every year and refresh color.
There is no age limit to permanent makeup! Just like traditional makeup. So, if something makes you feel confident and beautiful, then don’t let anything stop you! We believe that the benefits are universal for anyone looking for a fresh glow and a natural looking lift.
Micropigmentation is a form of tattooing but each technique uses its own equipment and specialized products. Tattoos are much more aggressive for our skin. The biggest difference between micropigmentation and tattooing is the depth of insertion of the pigment – the tattoo can go up to 7 millimeters under the skin, micropigmentation has a maximum of 2 millimeters. Also in micropigmentation, different, more natural colors are used, the pigments are hypoallergenic and harmless. Another difference is the time on the skin, the duration of the tattoo is permanent, while micropigmentation is semi-permanent, the color disappears between 1 and 3 years. Mainly the tattoo is a decorative modality, while micropigmentation is corrective and allows natural effects to be obtained.
In case of eyebrow or eye micropigmentation, 1 month before, do not pluck the eyebrows and do not use nutrients for the eyebrows or eyelashes.
14 days before:
- do not make henna tint for eyebrows and eyelashes.
- In the case of lips semi permanent makeup, if you have a tendency to cold sores, preventive medication is recommended before the procedure.
7 days before:
- avoid sun exposure and UVA radiation
- do gentle exfoliation and moisturize the skin with cream
- do not perform aggressive facials (acid facials, microdermabrasion, micro needling ect)
1 day before:
- do not drink coffee or tea
- do not drink alcohol
- do not smoke cigarettes
- do not take vasodilators and anticoagulants (aspirin) or drugs
On the same day of the treatment, you must come with a clean area without creams or makeup.
It is possible, but a consultation is necessary to assess the specific case. Corrections can be made both in shape and color. Generally, old semi permanent makeup allows new corrective makeup to be created even in the most difficult cases, but sometimes it has to be removed with PMU remover or a laser
Yes, I strictly adhere to the standards of the Health Department Pocedures to ensure infection control. All materials are sterilized or disposable (needles, covers, heads, pigment containers, medical gloves) and we use them only once. The health of my clients is very important for me and which is why I take great care of cleanliness and sterility
By order of the health procedure, any person who is going to undergo semi permanent makeup must be informed of the risks of the procedure as well as the care they must have before and after the procedure. Without the signed document, I will not be able to perform the procedure.

Yes, however we recommend you wait at least 6 weeks after to ensure it is fully healed, ideally it would be best to have your permanent makeup treatment first
It is advised you avoid any cream or makeup products for the first 7 days after your treatment, this will help to avoid infection
You should avoid sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and swimming for the first 7 days after a treatment, full aftercare will be given to you on the day of your procedure. If you are planning a sunshine holiday you should have the treatment at least 14 days prior to your departure
Laser hair removal can fade and change the shape of your lip or brow procedure. If you are having hair removed in that area advise your laser technician and they can act accordingly to accommodate for this
EYEBROWS
Powder brows is a cosmetic semi permanent makeup technique designed to create eyebrows with soft powder effect, very similar to powder makeup. Powder effect is done with a shading technique using a permanent makeup device, which is similar to a tattoo gun.
The first part of the healing process is complete when there are no more scabs and the texture of the skin is once again smooth (typically around the 10-14 day mark). After this point you can resume working out, normal showering, and using sunblock spf 50 (not very thick texcture because can remove color)
Nanoblading for eyebrows fills in scarce, thin eyebrows for a thicker appearance. The procedure involves the use of pigmented ink and a super fine needle to create hair-like tattoo strokes. These strokes look like natural hair. This technique is used for eyebrows reconstruction for people after chemioteraphy or hair lost
The eyebrow micropigmentation procedure takes 2-2.5 hours. The complete procedure consists of 2 treatments – the first and the touch-up after 4-6 weeks.
In reality the results are visible from the first day, directly after the first appointment. Because each skin reacts differently to pigments, during the second session the appropriate color and intensity can be adjusted to obtain very natural results.
Combo brows are a combination of microblading and powder brows (shading). There are microblading hair-like strokes from the beginning to the middle of the brow to give the brow a natural look, which then transitions to a powdered effect to the body and tail of the brow to give the brow more fullness and density. This technique is dedicated to dry- normal skin
No, if you are going to then I recommend you do this a week before your treatment. Your eyebrows will be shaped by myself during the treatment. Waxing/Plucking prior to treatment can result in open pores and can cause irritation and in severe cases infection
NO, the procedure is used to enhance your natural shape and style
EYELINER
Using a fresh Q-Tips/ cotton pads – wet them a bit with mineral water and pad area twice a day to ‘clean’ the skin
- Do not touch the tattooed area with your fingers
- Do not rub or scratch your eyes
Do not use saline eye drops or mascara until healed 14 days
Occasionally people will experience swelling or redness for 2 or 3 days. 1 in 25 people may even experience a light bruising which will disappear quickly. Understand that your eyebrow color will be too dark for approximately 4 to 5 days.
Your freshly done eyeliner looks very dark and that can make you regret getting it. Don’t panic! The pigment will fade up to 50% until the permanent eyeliner healing process is through. The true color will only emerge after about 3-4 weeks
It is perfectly normal for eyes to water or blink excessively during treatment, however clients tend to relax more into the treatment as they get used to it
LIPS
Semi-permanent makeup lips duration depends on several factors such as skin type, daily activity, care in the treated area and cosmetics that are applied, but in general it lasts between 2-4 years.
To maintain perfect lines and intensity of satisfactory color, it is recommended to refresh the color every 1.5-2 years. The biggest advantage is that micropigmentation is not permanent and gradually disappears over time, because our facial features change, fashion changes and therefore there is an opportunity to harmonize with the person’s current appearance
The cost of retouching for my clients up to 12 months is 50% of our current price list.
Care after micropigmentation treatment is very important. Failure to comply with the recommendations may affect the final effect of treatment and its duration. In order to care for your new style, please follow the guidelines below after each treatment session.
Care during the healing process, which lasts 1 week:
- avoid sun exposure and UVA radiation
- do not swim in the pool or in the sea
- avoid the sauna and the practice of sports that generate sweat
- avoid cosmetics and makeup
- don’t do facials
- do not scratch or remove small scabs
Maintain daily hygiene, clean gently and keep the area dry. You should not wet the treated areas alone
After that week you can back to a normal life but to enjoy the effect for a long time, it is recommended to use sunscreen number 50 in the treated area.
For 1 month, avoid henna dye, exfoliation and aesthetic treatment in the treated area
You’ll have minimal redness and swelling for the first 24 hours and for 4-10 days the colour will be 40% darker than the look you want to achieve – a bit like wearing heavy makeup
Semi permanent makeup looks great in black and Asian skin. However, as with conventional makeup muted-natural colours will not be as visible, especially in the case of lips – so we recommend that either vibrant, or darker shades be used to best showcase your enhancement and your complexion
Although permanent makeup does not cause cold sores a known history means your body carries the virus. Due to the procedure it can sometimes awaken the virus which lies dormant. Although this does not stop you having a procedure I recommend you apply an antiviral cream such as zovirax 5 days prior to and 5 days after treatment, or take any medication you may have, this will minimise any risk.
No, however if is advised you may wish to avoid salty or highly spiced foods, again this is not a must but a recommendation. Better to avoid cold and hot drinks so the sensitivity od the skin will not give you pain
Yes, but it is important to share this information with your permanent makeup technician. The filler and the color will be sharing the same space within the lip tissue. Color selection can need adjustments to ensure that the long-term color results don’t change. It is recommended that the color be implanted first, and after it is healed get the lip augmentation. This ensures proper placement and symmetry of the lip filler that nicely compliments the shape and symmetry of the permanent color
