While both procedures involve injecting ink into the skin, there are a few key differences. Semi permanent makeup is applied in layers, whereas tattoos are typically one solid color. Yes, semi permanent makeup is never drawn as 1 line like in case of tattoo. To adjust color to the needs it required to apply as much layers as require by the skin in order to receive beautiful and natural color.

Semi permanent makeup is designed to last a few years, whereas tattoos are permanent. After couple of years semi permanent makeup can be invisible. Semi permanent makeup can be removed using cosmetic remover or natural removals, while tattoos cannot be removed without laser what cost a lot of many and is ridiculously painful.

If you are aware of semi permanent makeup you can always go for consultation same as in case of tattoo. The difference is that tattoo artist will draw the idea on the paper and apply straight after on your body. In case of semi permanent makeup you can see the shape and color during consultation and also check the work of SPMU Artist on website or social media if has same taste as you do. What should I expect from my consultation? During your consultation we will discuss what type of look you’re going for, where you would like it done and how long it will last. Semi permanent makeup also does not last as long as a tattoo, which can last for decades. The color may fade over time, but it won’t disappear completely. Semi permanent makeup tends to fade more slowly than a tattoo does.

Tattoo is implemented into the skin by tatto gun which is also much powerful than semi permanent makeup machine. Skin on the face is changing much more often, while is more oily during summer and dry during winter time. Permanent makeup is almost exclusively applied with rotary machines because they use thiner needles and can be performed more precisely. Considering that our skin on the face is thinner than the one on the body and eyebrows are the most common treatment for semi permanent makeup procedure the machine need to be way more precise and with gently vibration.

Apart of that gravitation is not helping at all this is why semi permanent makeup is best option because we can removed when is needed and adjust the shape of the eyebrows or eyeliner when she skin become less firm. In that case is safe of us and less stressful in case the particular fashion has change. After couple of years we can adjust shape, technique of micropigmentation and color. This make us feel more confident to get it done.

Semi permanent makeup is the best option for women who want to look good without spending hours in front of a mirror. It is safe and painless method that can make us look younger, fresher and more beautiful. Semi permanent makeup is last for years, but it not last forever. The skin become less firm and the color may change after couple of years. This is why we recommend to get touch up every 2-3 years.

Knowing how much easier is to wakeup up with makeup without drawing it every single day the decision is easy to make 😉

Tattoo artist doesn’t require formal education, most of the tattoo artist they are talented with drawings and become freelancers. In case of semi permanent makeup artist , very from country to country, but it mostly comes down to completing a course in a beauty school or a certified training centre. Some of the courses require a degree in cosmetology, while others do not. This make you feel that person with medical education should have more knowledge and handle with any type of the skin and skin issues.

Pigments used are iron oxides, usually with some water and glycerine added. Tattoo ink is made up of pigments combined with a carrier and a number of chemicals such as lead, chromium, nickel, titanuim dioxide… The list goes on. Tattoo ink comes in all colors, while permanent makeup uses different shades of brown, and shades of pink for lip blushing. Semi permanent makeup pigments cost more because in many countries the requirements are very specific and cost of production considering particular requirements are way higher than tatto ink.

I hope now you can understand the difference and make right decision for yourself 🙂

The post Is semi permanent makeup the same as a tattoo? first appeared on YoankaPMU.

Sounds really scary and serious when we use the words: medical micropigmentation. Is it really scary? The only things makes us feel scary or uncomfortable are things which we don’t know and haven’t experienced.

This is why today I am going to introduce you medical micropigmentation which is a huge help for many people around the world and I am more than happy to be one of those who help.

Starting from the beginning micropigmentation is in other words semi permanent makeup or cosmetic tattooing. It is a cosmetic procedure that involves injecting pigment under the top layers of your skin. The result is a very natural-looking tattoo, with the added benefit of being able to be removed if you ever change your mind. It can also help cover scarring from accidents or surgery. This is a form of tattoo which is used for cosmetic purposes. It can be used in many different ways such as to enhance your natural beauty and make you look more attractive or to hide some problem on your skin or face.

Also, scar cover/scar removal is a procedure of medical micropigmentation. This procedure is ideal for people who have scars that are not expected to fade with time. The process of scar cover / scar removal involves applying cosmetic pigments to the scarred area and letting them settle in so they can blend with your skin. This helps hide any discoloration that’s present on the skin, making it look as if there were no scar at all. Also a great option after breast surgery or caesarean section. In this case, the scar is often quite visible and may be a cause of embarrassment. Medical micropigmentation can help hide these types of scars by applying cosmetic pigments over them to make them appear less prominent. For example, if you have some scar on your face that bothers you then it can be covered with medical micropigmentation so that no one will notice it anymore.

Medical micropigmentation is also used to cover vitiligo and other skin conditions which cause discoloration. Vitiligo camouflage is a rescue for people with this skin disease that causes patchy loss of pigment in the skin. Vitiligo is a condition that causes your skin to lose its color over time, leaving white spots where there should be color. The result is a natural-looking camouflage that blends perfectly into your skin tone and makes you look like you never had vitiligo in the first place. The result is a natural-looking camouflage that blends perfectly into your skin tone and makes you look like you never had vitiligo in the first place. This medical micropigmentation technique uses cosmetic pigments to replace the missing melanin in your skin. The pigment used in this type of tattoo is the same as what’s used for cosmetic purposes. It can be applied with a needle or pen depending on the technique. This is done by injecting the pigment into the skin, where it will stay until your body naturally sloughs off the top layers. The result is a very natural-looking tattoo, with the added benefit of being able to be removed if you ever change your mind. It can also help cover scarring from accidents or surgery. The ink used in cosmetic tattoos is made from the same materials as regular tattoos, but it’s injected into the skin rather than being applied with a needle. This gives you a more natural look and feel because it’s applied under your skin rather than on top of it. The ink used in cosmetic tattoos is made from the same materials as regular tattoos, but it’s injected into the skin rather than being applied with a needle. This gives you a more natural look because it’s applied under your skin rather than on top of it. This type of tattooing is typically done by trained technicians who have had years of experience in this field.

Medical micropigmentation is also areola reconstruction and nipple tattooing. It’s a cosmetic procedure that can help restore the appearance of your areola after breast surgery and mastectomy. The pigment used in this type of tattoo is made from vegetable dyes, which makes it safe for use on sensitive skin tissue like areolas. This treatment is well known around the world and get every year more and more popular because have the magic power of giving happiness and making the body look again normal. Not only women are happy to receive that treatment but also men. There is plenty of people who need to be again confidence while going to the beach and removing their t-shirt after several surgery cuts and scars all over the chest. Thanks to medical pigmentation those people are getting new life and can smile again with full confidence.

One of the last popular medical micropigmentation is also nail reconstruction. The nail reconstruction process is ideal for people with severe cases of onychomycosis, which is a fungal infection that can be very painful and lead to permanent damage if left untreated. Medical micropigmentation helps restore the appearance of your nails through cosmetic pigments. This can be done by applying the pigments directly onto your nails or using them as an undercoat before applying a standard nail polish.

In clear terms, microblading is a cosmetic process done manually to boost the look of your hair and give it that more-defined and fuller appearance. This process is not a permanent one, but it is one that will last for a long time. It can last for as long as an average period of 1 to 3 years.

The process of eyebrows microblading is a very subtle one with very close attention to details and accuracy. Anyone in charge of the process ensures that no mistake is made and every single incision is done with utmost care and precision.

In all, eyebrow microblading, unlike tattooing, is a careful process with an eye for symmetry, thickness, coloration, and form as necessary elements to generate that stunning and fuller look for your eyebrows.

However, microblading should only be performed by professionals: if somebody who is not completely trained in the process was to perform it, they could cause significant damage to your skin or the eyebrow’s root, which prevents hair growth.

Remember, hairs naturally fall from your brows and lashes as part of their growth cycle, otherwise, you’d have far too much going on up there – it is normal to see a little bit of fallout during everyday life and nothing to freak out about.

If you’re experiencing hair loss, it is more likely to be down to hormonal changes or deficiencies in your body, as well as any recent changes in your skincare routine, diet, or medication taking.

There are rumors circulating the Internet that microblading results in major brow fallout – you probably heard the rumor there yourself, and that’s why you’re asking! But rest assured, if you go to a reputable esthetician, you won’t have to worry about it.

Will getting microblading done affect your natural hair growth? The answer is not necessarily, but only if done properly. It can actually do the opposite and stimulate hair growth due to skin regeneration. Once the SPMU Artist has done their job, it’s up to you to do the rest. Microblading post-care is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. Make sure you do not let any water, lotion, soap, or makeup touch your eyebrow area for 1 week post-procedure. If you are washing your face (especially in the shower), carefully avoid the eyebrow area. Due to the skin regeneration process, itching and flaking may appear while you heal, but avoid excessively touching or applying any products or sweating during this time.

Avoid these activities for at least 1 week post-procedure:

Practicing sports or exercising

Swimming, hot sauna, jacuzzi, etc.

Tanning

Any other activity that may cause excess or increased sweating

One of the most frequently asked inquiries is “does permanent makeup hurt?”

No, in a nutshell, and here’s why.

All of my clients are pleasantly surprised to learn that permanent makeup is not nearly as painful as they anticipated when they first see us. This is because I utilize numbing product of the highest quality, so you won’t feel a thing.

Lidocaine, Benzocaine, and Tetracaine are the three magical components that make up our numbing cream. These three ingredients combined produce a potent numbing lotion that makes obtaining microblading, lip tinting, or any other one of semi permanent makeup treatments a comfortable experience.
If the proper numbing cream is applied, permanent cosmetics and microblading are often fairly painless procedures.

Despite all of this, some clients may experience some little discomfort during procedures of a similar nature because of the “scratching” sensation.
A device called a “microblade” is used to cut a tiny incision into your skin while microblading, filling it with colored pigment. Some people find the strange scratching sound that occurs during the microblading procedure to be uncomfortable. It has the same effect as having your nails scrape over a blackboard.

If the proper numbing cream is applied, permanent cosmetics and microblading are often fairly painless procedures. Although there may be some unsettling noises involved, you’ll be pleasantly pleased by how little discomfort you experience. Some of my clients even nod off while having permanent makeup applied.

Even while some small discomfort and skin sensitivity should be expected, taking the following actions before your visit may help to decrease the tenderness and sensitivity felt during Semi permanent makeup:

Avoid drinking or consuming caffeine the day of the operation

For a few days before to the appointment, refrain from tanning or sunbathing

Prior to the appointment, wait a few days before waxing or plucking your eyebrows

For a few weeks before to the appointment, refrain from getting cosmetic treatments like laser hair removal and chemical peels

A month ahead, stop utilizing vitamin A (retinol).

Unbelievably, some people can bear pain on a different scale than others because they have “tougher skin.” Reviews vary widely, so it’s important to know exactly what you want to accomplish in terms of outcomes and permanence.

Some of my client’s reviews:

“It doesn’t feel worrisome, more like a vibration on your eyebrows, at worst, a tiny scratch on your skin.”

“Just did third touch up for eye liner. I could sleep during the treatment.”

Looks like there is nothing to worry about and just make sure to read pre instruction advices and show up for your appointment on time 🙂
